Michael T. Lahti has been an attorney since 1995, assisting clients in a variety of practice areas. Some of the work he does involves estate planning, taxation, including litigation, business and commercial law, probate and estate administration, elder law, trusts and wills, and nursing home or long term planning. He also represents clients in matters of business organization, contracts, real estate, social security disability, Medicaid and Medicare. Mr. Lahti is admitted to practice in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Florida. Mr. Lahti was a software editor in the estate planning field. The material he helped develop is used by other attorneys who prepare and execute complex estate plans.
Mr. Lahti has extensive training in estate planning, including an LL.M. from the University of Miami. He obtained his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Lahti also has a Bachelor's degree in economics and business management from Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin.
