Maria H. Lahti represents clients in a broad range of matters, including estate planning, elder law, probate and estate administration, trusts and wills, social security disability, long term care and nursing home planning, family law, adoption, and guardianships. Ms. Lahti is admitted to practice in Illinois, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island and has been an attorney since 1988. She is fluent in Italian. Ms. Lahti has worked as a Legal Aid Attorney, representing indigent and low income clients in family law and public benefits matters. While living in Chicago, Ms. Lahti represented families with disabled dependents in the areas of special education, guardianships, and estate planning.
Ms. Lahti obtained her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in Boston. She attended Vassar College where she majored in political science and Italian.
